WANT TO BRING A CRITTER?
Though we love animals so much, we created a show to feature them, we do have guidelines for this indoor event. First and foremost, we cannot have animals loose or on the event floor (unless Service Animals, see below). This means pets will need to remain in animal safe enclosures such as strollers that zip and close, backpacks that are made for birds and small pets, etc. We will have designated areas for pets to come out for photo ops and a chance to be seen. Any animals in these designated locations must remain on a leash/with their owner. We have the right to refuse any attendees with animals we feel do not/cannot follow these guidelines or may be a danger. We do not need to provide any reasons for asking pets to be removed/non-entry. Please put your pets FIRST and do what is best for them. We are open to all animals as long as they are being treated well and can be comfortable in their animal safe "enclosures". We understand larger animals may not be able to follow these guidelines, but if you know you can safely do what is asked, attempt at your own risk as we need to see before allowing entry. Please note attendees are responsible for their critters and must clean up after them and are held accountable for all interactions and behavior of animals. If you are bringing any animal(s), Critter Con and Boys and Girls Club employees/location are not responsible for:
>Cleaning up after pets
>Watching after pets
>Any injury, threat or damage by owner or pets caused at any time of the event, indoors or outdoors. The owner is held responsible.
There is a park at the end of the street that animals and their owners can enjoy together! Please consider taking breaks from the event for them.
SERVICE ANIMALS:
We will need proof that they are a service animal before entry and happy to accept them. Please note attendees are responsible for their critters and must clean up after them. Service animals CAN remain on a leash on the event floor, but, must be able to behave themselves and not get into vendor spaces, cause damage or harm. If they are "on duty" many attendees and vendors may try to pet them, so please be ready to let them know. This is education for many:) We apologize for the extreme measures, but others have failed to follow the guidelines or lied about their pets being Service Animals. Please note attendees are responsible for their critters and must clean up after them and are held accountable for all interactions and behavior of animals. If you are bringing any animal(s)/service animals, Critter Con and Boys and Girls Club employees/location are not responsible for:
>Cleaning up after pets
>Watching after pets
>Any injury, threat or damage by owner or pets caused at any time of the event, indoors or outdoors. The owner is held responsible.
There is a park at the end of the street that animals and their owners can enjoy together! Please consider taking breaks from the event for them.
CRITTER LOVERS (Pet Owners)
We hold the same standards for humans as we do our beloved critters. All attendees are responsible for their own actions. Critter Con & Boys and Girls Club of Stanton employees/location are not liable for any damage, property loss, or personal injury. Please be sure to read the fine print on our event page before attending..
